Hotel Recommendations for Sibiu and Sighisoaraa
 

My wife and I want to spend 3 nights in either Sibiu or Sighisoara in mid-September 2024. I would appreciate any recommendations you may have about these two cities. We will be driving a rent car so parking will be important. Some of the reviews of hotels in these two cities are poor so I don't want to make a mistake. There aren't nearly as many reviews on cities in Romania as other European destinations.

In Sibiu, you might consider The Rabbit Hole. It's quirky, but I thought the location outstanding and the service excellent. There is partking, but a bit away: You can park close enough to take your luggage to the hotel and then they will then help you find a parking space that is covered by a sticker / decal they will give you.

In Sighosoara, I enjoyed Hotel Central Park. Parking is available.

FWIW, I'd opt for Sibiu over Sighosaora. Sighosaora is worth seeing, but will only take an afternoon or perhaps better part of a day. There's much more to see in / around Sibiu.
