Hotel Recommendation in Avignon
 

Can anyone recommend a centrally-located hotel in Avignon for a few days' stay in May, perhaps in the 125-150-ish euro range? Or if that is unreasonably low in cost for the area, what would you recommend at a higher cost?

My favorite hotel in Avignon is the Hotel d´Europe. It is perhaps a bit over your budget window but sometimes they have specials making the price more manageable.

I should also mention la Banasterie which is actually a chambre d´hote, not an hotel. It is very centrally located and within your budget but you will need to reserve early:

You might try the Mercure Avignon Cite Papes. I've stayed there and really enjoyed it.

It is literally next door to the Papal Palace, when the Popes lived in France.

I loved the Hotel D'Europe.
The Restaurant is very good and it has a nice little terrace.
