hotel reccomendation in Milan?

My husband and I will be staying in Milan for 2 days on our way to Sicily. It will be our first time there. Does anyone have a reccomendation for a hotel in a central location for under $200.00?

This hotel is very nice and very central-

If you are arriving from the airport, take the "Malpensa Express" subway train directly from the airport as far as Cadorna station. It is a very fast, cheap and easy way to arrive in the city center and the hotel.

Hi,

Take a look to Hotel Bernina http://www.hotelbernina.com/
It's a budget 3 star hotel right in front of the Central Train station and the subway stop, well connected to all the main attractions in Milan.

We enjoyed our stay at Antica Locanda Leonardo, very quiet location with a rear garden, wonderful breakfast and helpful staff.

We stayed in an Ibis (Accor) hotel about a ten minute walk from Milano Centrale train station that was very nice and inexpensive last year.

Look for a hotel near Cadorna train station. It is very central located and you arrive there by train from airport. I think it is a safer and nicer position than the hotels near Centrale station.
We stayed at Hotel Genius Downtown, 10 min. walking from Cadorna . Clean, nice and good breakfast
