Hotel Recamier Paris - does anyone know it?

I am considering staying at Hotel Recamier in the 6th. I have not found any reviews of this hotel since the renovations were recently completed. I hope someone can please provide me with recent information about this hotel. Then I can make an informed decision about staying there in October.

Thank you.

I keep coming across the Hotel Recamier on various travel websites or in magazines. The reviews all seem very positive but I'd also be interested in hearing from actual travelers.

Stopped in to have a look in December. Same owners as the Verneuil and the Therese. (Have stayed in both by the way.) We all felt the public spaces are overloaded with furniture and cramped. Did not look at the rooms. Good location but preferred the Verneuil to this.

You've probably seen the comments at TA - all aglow following the renovations. There are a few user photos - the rooms look nice but yeah the lobby area is really crowded.

There was an outdoor cafe right in front of the door where I had lunch years ago. Is it no more?
