Hotel Presiden Venice (Mestre) any Comments?

I will be visiting Venice for the first time and wanted to know what people thought of the Hotel President (Mestre)?

Is it easy to get to Venice from there? Any tips to follow while visiting Venice?

Thanks,

Rogoflap

Venice is one city you want to be in at least one night. Any money you might save by staying in Mestre will be spent on transportation in and out of Venice.

I am not familiar with Hotel President.

I don't know about this hotel. Last year we stayed Hotel Bologna right across from train station in Mestre. It was 4 star hotel on line room rate was 99 euro and was very nice hotel and it was 1 euro to take 10 min train to Venice.

Stay in Venice or skip it.

Rogo - if money is the reason for staying in Mestre, you can find plenty of nice hotels in Venice that are cheaper than the rates for Hotel President (I googled them). Look at venere.com for tons of hotels in all price ranges.
