Hotel Piazza Venezia

Hi, This place looks like it would be great in terms of location, I'm with my husband for 3 nights then alone for 5, I'd like something central and safe, any opinions?
Thank you so much
Melissa

You should read reviews on Tripadvisor.

I have, it sounds good and safe although old, and the bathrooms are an issue, but this is a first visit to Rome and I'm more concerned with location and safety as I'll be by myself most of the time.
Any opinions?

Piazza Venezia is a very busy area (really a big traffic intersection). Lots of traffic and buses. Noise may be a factor, but I would feel safe in the area. It's not a cute little piazza. Look at Google maps satellite views to get a feel for an area.

You should state your budget and room expectations. Many of us have traveled alone in Rome, but without knowing your budget it's hard to suggest good locations.

I'm with kybourbon. That is an incredibly busy intersection, with lots of traffic as well as bus stops. While central to a number of sights, I would prefer a quieter street. I usually try to avoid those cross streets when wandering through Rome
