Looking for hotel or parador suggestions for madrid, seville, marbella or puerto banus, nerja, tarifa

I can recommend the Suecia in Madrid and the Dona Maria in Seville. The parador in Nerja has been highly recommended.

I am also a huge fan; there is nothing like this group of lodgings anywhere in the world in my opinion.

Madrid: Hotel Plaza Mayor
Sevilla: Hotel Amadeus
Nerja: We rented a condo next door to Hotel Paraiso. The location is superb -- have not been inside the hotel.

We are also great fans of the paradors. When we visited Spain 3 years ago, we stayed at the parador in Ronda, Malaga, and at the Alhambra. If we return to Spain, I wouldn't stay anywhere else.
