Hotel or B&B Recommendations in Brugge?

Hello,
We will be in Brugge in early September and would love to hear from anyone who has a favourite hotel or B&B there. We want to be in the centre of town. We will be training from Amsterdam and hope to stay for two days. Ideally looking at a 3 or 4 star if possible or an equivelent B&B.
Any thoughts?

Well it's not in the center of town, but it is about a block from the train to town. Great B&B with English speaking hosts.

sunschein,

We really enjoyed the Hotel Aragon during our visit last October.

Location is great, and we walked everywhere. Included breakfast was excellent.

We stayed at the Hotel Duc de Bourgogne in Brugge and loved it. The restaurant is top drawer. Vicky

not sure how many stars Hotel 't Zand has but I stayed there last year after the renovations were complete and thought the hotel was great. We walked all over with no problems. The restaurant was great also.

For an excellent Michelin starred meal (with few tourists) in a handsome setting, Den Gouden Harynck.

dgassa - great trip report and pictures.

Byrd, Bajaflash, Cls2paris, and Btilke thank you for the suggestions. I will look into them today.

We thought our stay at Hotel de Tuilerieen was extremely nice. About 5-10 minute walk to the square, great breakfasts, wonderful staff (and even had a/c which came in handy one day when it got into the mid-30sC)

The Cote Canal. Look at the website for what looks like a wonderful B&B. I will be staying here in October, but I can already tell it looks wonderful.

I have read reviewers comments and they can't praise it enough.

sunny:

You might want to consider the very nice Hotel Egmond at the Minnewater, near the Beguinage. It's on a lovely plot of garden grounds....and a ten minute walk to the center of Brugge (very near to the RR station). We have stayed there twice and have sent several friends.
