Hotel on the 8th arrondisement
 

Would you recomend me an hotel in this area?

ester<BR>You should say what you want to spend and what kind of amenities you require<BR>(larger vs smaller rooms, air conditioning if you are going in summer or you can do without that,) etc.<BR>The 8th does not have the greatest concentration of budget-minded hotels; were you thinking of more luxurious accommodations?

L'Astor, a Sofitel property, is very nice. If you do some searching, there are some deals out there on some Sofitel Paris properties. (But not on their own website. Yikes!)

It's not a bad area. However, to me it is not as nice as the 1st, 5th-7th districts in terms of variety of shops and restaurants.
