Hotel Not Reviewed

Hello...I can not find a review for the agritourism villa La Ghirlanda in Umbria ANYWHERE! I've searched and searched but to no avail. What does this mean? On the one hand, I've found no bad reviews of the place. On the other hand, I'd love to read a good review before I book my vacation there! HELP!

It means that nobody who has ever stayed there bothered to post a review. Wish I could help. Guess you'll have to be the first. Good luck.

Thanks. I guess you don't think it's necessarily a bad sign? I think we're going to give it a chance--and I'll post a review!

I don't think it is a bad sign. I never write reviews ...and I suppose some others don't :)

If you are from the US it may be that their clients are mostly European. I know some really nice cozy hotels that are not mentioned by Americans, they just never seem to stay there, or they aren't the chatty types.

If it makes you feel better, people are more inclined to write reviews about places they were unhappy with than about places they liked. So perhaps nobody has been unhappy with this place?

Try cross referencing it in a couple of travel books. If you can it is probably fine.

For you sake, I hope it's such a wonderful place no one wants to let the secret out.

Try www.google.it and see how many hits you get.

Most will hits have translations into English.

It's, as the cliche goes, a world of difference
