Hi, <BR>I am going to Rome for the first time in October. I hope someone can give me a good advice on which hotel to stay at. It seems to me that Piazza Navona would be a perfect area to stay. My budget is about 250000 Lira a night. <BR>Kaja

I'm just back from Rome and loved it! I stayed at the Hotel Marcus which isn't too far from the Piazza - you can walk in about 6-7 minutes! The rate was <BR>230,000 Lit per night. <BR> <BR>Laura

I'm looking for the same!!! for late oct. early nov. <BR>I have contact casa di brigida but they say do not have rooms. Some one told me about residenza san pantaleo. Have some one heard or know about san pantaleo, the prices look very good.

Dear Kaja, I don't know what your needs are from a hotel, i.e. American Bar, Lounges, etc. I feel I have stumbled upon a real find: Residenza San Pantaleo (just off Piazza Navona) Check out Travel with Ed and Julie., where it is recommended. I can't remember their website. They have well appointed, air-conditioned rooms with private bath for under Lit.200.000,including breakfast. My husband and I have rented the 2 room apartment on the third floor for Lit. 250.000. I will post my "review" when I return in August. There seem to be so many recs in so many guidebooks, and certainly in this forum. You can't go wrong. I hope I haven't.

Montro om det vil bli debatt på grunn av det?<BR>Uansett - Navona og området rundt er helt topp. Men hotellprisene kan være høye. Vi har forelsket oss i området rundt Campo dei'Fiori, bare et stenkast unna Navona i retning Tiber'n og Trastevere. For to år siden leide vi en av leilighetene som Hotel Campo d'Fiori eier. Bratt trapp opp, og leiligheten var i to etasjer med en meget stor takterasse. Herlig, og jeg minnes at prisen var under 250.000, inklusiv frokost som vi spiste på hotellet (100 m gangvei)<BR>I fjor var jeg i Roma med jobben i siste uken av oktober. Været var meeeget bra. <BR>Jeg ser av svarene her et tips om å finne "Travelling with Ed and Julie". Jeg husker ikke web-adressen, men de sidene er svært bra og gir svar på det aller meste. <BR>Ha en topp tur. Roma er verdens beste by, og det er helt nødvendig å bo sentralt, slik at man kan nå alle stedene pr fot.<BR>Bjørn, Oslo
