HOTEL NEAR GARE MONTPARNASSE

Pls recommend a hotel (3 or 2 star) hotel very near (as in less than a minute's walk to) the Gare Montparnasse. Our budget is 100 euro or a little over it. Our train from Lourdes comes in at night and my mother can't walk very far. We need a good safe clean hotel within the station area. Thank you for your help.

The price is really going to vary, depending on the date. But check

www.accorhotels.com
Several Accor hotels are nearby, and may be in your budget range.

Also check the Concorde Montparnasse, and the Waldorf Montparnasse.

Hi F,

Check out www.priceline.com

Carefully read www.biddingfortravel.com

The Meridian Montparnasse goes for about $100 dbl

The Le Meridien Montparnasse used to appear sometimes for that price when bidding on Priceline, but has not shown up lately. Much more likely is to get the Marriott Rive Gauche, probably about a mile walk from the station. So in these circumstances, I would not recommend Priceline.
