Hotel Near Ciampino Airport
Any recommendations for a hotel close to the Ciampino Airport in Rome? We have an international flight out at 6:35 a.m (5:00 to check in at the airport?) I saw an old thread but thought maybe someone might have some recent experience.
Thank you,

Hi JeanMS,
No personal experience, these hotels seem closest and are also reviewed on Tripadvisor.
I would definitely make sure they can shuttle you to the airport for your early morning departure:

Hope this helps,

Hi Jean - Here are a few hotels in Ciampino with websites:
http://www.albergolaura.net/en/index_en.htm
http://www.hoteldany.it/indexeng.html
http://www.hotel-louis.it/louis1.htm
(Hotel Louis appears to have 2 properties - a 2* and a 3*. They offer a free airport transfer)
Hope this helps ...

Ciampino airport has a very good shuttle service into Rome...you could check if it runs 24/7 0r ask the airport for advice. We left our car there while in Rome and they were very helpful...but it mught be too early! Good luck!

Grazie for the advice. Our family consists of two adults and two kids ( 6 and 8 years old). Getting a quad at a reasonable price is sometimes difficult. I will check out your recommendations.
