hotel near CDG airport
any suggestions on a hotel near the CDG Airport for a family of 4 to use the night before our return flight back to the States?
|
S, try ibishotel.com for info on their
property at CDG. Its cheap, clean, and has a free shuttle to the terminals.
|
SSS, go to www.google.com and type in CDG hotels.

Bon voyage

I've stayed at one of the Ibis Hotels and also the Radisson. I preferred the Radisson. Look at www.radisson.com
When it asks for a region, select Roissy. The Radisson is one mile from the airport and they offer shuttle service.

There is a Sheraton hotel right in the airport. It is only a few years old, and the rooms are very comfortable. It is extremely convenient.

This site gives you information about 6 airport hotels at Roissy (CDG) as well as a map of the airport (at bottom of page after you click on one of the hotels.)

The site, Betty, the site? :-)

Be sure to ask about family rates-there is a Novotel nearby. We had friends visit and they offer "kids sleep free" (depends on ages-I think it is under 16) so you might check them out novotel.com

For our last night in France I booked us a room at the hotel Ibis recommended here.
This is our first trip to Europe. After we arrive in CDG from New York how do we find a shuttle to the hotel?
Are we going be OK with our limited French?

Someone recently recommended the Comfort Inn-Roissy/CDG. www.choicehotels.com

Various hotels at CDG share the shuttle buses, so check for the name on the side of the bus-they are the small 16- seat type. They come around 5-10 minutes.I forget the door number for the stop, there are many stops, so just ask at the info desk.
Good move staying at the airport the night before. We did the same thing after seeing/experiencing the traffic into the city. We actually found it relaxing, time to relax, repack and be ready for the early flight the next morning-all calm, no panic !

According to www.biddingfortravel.com, Priceline uses the Hyatt at CDG--none others listed, so if you bid for a four- star at CDG, that's what you'll get. The moderators at BFT will help you construct your bid.
