Hotel Mozart for 165 euros or Del Senato for 240 euros?

Planning honeymoon for next fall and am down to the abovementioned choice. The Hotel Mozart honeymoon room rate is for a Superior Double and includes 20% off for another honeymoon special. The hotel looks very nice. But...I've been in awe of the del Senato since the first time I saw their website. I know tons of people rank this hotel as having some of the best rooms in Italy. We'll be in Rome for three nights...

Please make this choice easier. What if the del Senato doesn't live up to expectations...(it would be the most expensive hotel on our honeymoon)

Hi LED,
Go for it. What if the Mozart doesn't meet expectations?

At the Senato, you can always say, "At these rates, this is unacceptable", or just, "this is unacceptable".

Hi
If you go to www.tripadviser.com you will find two very very positive comments on the Mozart, if that helps.
One person said that as a 3-star it was better than some 4-stars.

My son and family loved the Mozart. For that difference, I would take it.

I would email Del Senato directly and have them garantee a Panthoen View. I don't know what the other rooms were like, but our room was top floor and center. You can see it in the pictures of the facade on their web site. Small balcony with french doors and two topiary trees in terracotta pots. Small, but it truly more than made up for it in many, many ways! Very charming and romantic. I take it from your post you have already read all the comments; I've made several reviews and descriptions. Also check out the "Rants & Raves" on fodors.com.
