Hotel Monge, Paris
I will be staying at the Hotel Monge in Paris in December. Does anyone have tips on the Monge's rooms?? What are the best rooms? Thanks.

We stayed there in July and enjoyed it. Request a room with a balcony facing the street. We were on the fifth floor and the balcony was only large enough to step out on, but it was nice to open the two sets of French doors and enjoy the goings-on below or just have the breeze blowing in.
Beware, however, that the windows also face the bathrooms of the hotel across the way....ha. People tend to keep the glazed windows shut, though. Enjoy your trip! |
I woulld request a room at the back overlooking the Arena Lutece. the rooms are small but very clean (no shower curtain) and the breakfast is good.

We loved this hotel and had one room facing the street and one facing the arena, both were great but I think I would choose the street view just because I like to see what's going on :-)
There have been reviews on this hotel in the past, so try doing a search. Have fun! |
We also had a room facing the street in August, was on the 3rd floor and had two windows. Room was spotless and staff very pleasant.I think room number was 31, saw the room next door and it was much smaller.

Hello! I don't know the hotel Monge but I went in the hotel "Cardinal Rive Gauche" a few months ago and it was a really good one, very quiet and comfortable, a three stars hotel for the same price as the hotel Monge, in the same area.
You can visit their site, the adress of their website is the following one: http://www.hotelcardinal.com/index.html I hope you'll have a nice trip in Paris. |
