In Paris France, since when you click on France the question pops up.

sorry, I'm not familiar with the hotel specifically.

I think you are new to this board, so perhaps don't realize that most people do not click on a particular country in the search box just to view and answer posts. There is no need to do that unless you are searching for something in particular -- that's a search tool, not necessary to normal use. Perhaps some people only want to view a small subset of posts on a particular country and they might use that box to do that, but I don't think that is very common as most people are interested in more than one country or even the "no country" posts on general subjects. So, you should put identifying information as to city or country in your title so people know where you are talking about. Also, more people might read it as I tend to skip over posts with general headings like "need help" "problems" "hotel question", etc.

If you start on the home page of the Europe Forum, you will see just one long list of posts on all countries, there is no division by country unless you use the search tool. Nobody is going to go to the trouble to try every country to see which one matches your post (except Rex).

As for your question, I am not personally familiar with that hotel. If it's the one called Residence Metropole Opera, it's in a convenient right bank location (near the Opera Garnier, Louvre and Madeleine) and is an apartment/hotel setup with kitchenettes, I think. It looks a little overpriced to me for what it is from what I saw online, but I'm not sure -- definitely compare its rates to Citadines which has similar properties, some in that area. Decor is not very nice for that price.

I went to check out this hotel/apt. and I did not like it. The rooms were small and not charming at all. It is a good location and does have a kitchen in the suites and it was clean but not what I was looking for.
