Hotel Madison, Paris Question

I am researching hotels for a March 2005 stop in Paris and am interested in the Hotel Madison. It seems to have everything we are interested in except for the twin beds. Does anyone know if they can make them up as a king size bed? I know they have rooms with double beds but the twin bedded rooms seem to be better. It doesn't seem like romantic Paris with him in another bed. Thanks.

AGM, we stayed at the Madison in July. Our room was wonderful - spacious and elegant. We had two twin beds which were pushed together but made up separately. I suppose you could ask if they could make the beds up as one but, believe me, it was still very romantic just as they were and we have been married for 34 years!! Request a room facing the boulevard.

Have a great trip!

There have been several recent posts about the Madison..a search will reveal them. As I recall the beds can be made up as a double.

We also stayed at the Madison in July, and the beds were pushed together and made up as a king-size bed, with one bottom sheet.

You could still feel a little bit of a crack between the two mattresses, but it wasn't very noticeable, and the mattresses were very comfortable.

Thanks for the information. How did you book your stay at the Madison? Through their website, by phone, fax, email?

We had our travel agent book it for us, but I wouldn't do that again.

They didn't include breakfast in our rate, even though it is almost always included there, which I chalked up to them having to pay her commission. But when I last checked with her a few weeks ago, they still had never even paid her commission!

So you might as well book it yourself- I would think the website, email, or fax would be fine.

We stayed at the Madison in late September and had a twin-bedded room; we had the beds made up separately, but they can be pushed together to make up a king. It's best to use the Madison's web site for booking, although keep checking on Orbitz for specials. If you get one, breakfast won't be included, but a branch of Paul's is just two short blocks away.

Does anyone know if they have triple rooms with three twin beds?
