Hotel Le Walt in Paris - 4 Star?

We are considering the Hotel Le Walt for a week stay in July. Have any of you stayed there recently or do you have recent feedback on this hotel? Would appreciate any information on this hotel. Thank you.

We walked by it last summer and thought it looked very nice. My sister went in and picked up a brochure. It is on a busy street and close to a metro station. Close to Rue Cler, Eiffel Tower, and lots of restaurants. So, my questions would be "how quiet is it"? Does it have double pane windows? Have you looked it up on www.tripadvisor.com?

We were in that neighborhood last year and the area looked quite nice. I have checked all the usual sources, including Tripadvisor, and it seems like a very good hotel, on average, depending on the location of the room. Hoping to hear from some who have stayed there. Thanks for your response Ronda.

Ah yes, close to the rue Cler—what more could one ask of a hotel?

We stayed here last year; the location is great with metro, bus lines and taxi stand just a few feet away. The metro vibration can someimes be heard on the lower floors; some high rooms offer a limited view of the Tour Eiffel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Four cafes are in the immediate area as are some great restaurants, Leo le Lion, Maupertu and Florimond. We would stay here again.
