Hotel La Tour Notre Dame

My husband and I booked this hotel for 4 nights in June. I don't know anything about it but I liked the way the pictures of it looked on the internet, plus the location looks great, 5th arron. I've been reading through everyone's comments and no one has said anything about this hotel. Now I am worried that there is something wrong with it. Can anyone allay my fears?

Thank you, Karen

Hi Karen, My husband and I stayed at this hotel in nov. 2001.You're right about the location! Its a great little hotel. Very friendly staff, good buffet breakfast, rooms are tiny but clean. Don't miss the Cluny museum on the corner. Notre Dame and the seine are just a short stroll away.I reccommend Cote Seine restaurant on 45 quai des grands augustins.

has anyone had any recent experience with this hotel? We're planning a week in April with our two children (12 and 14) and this hotel was recommended to us. Location seems great, but I'm concerned about the age of the posts here. Anyone been in the last year or so?

thanks, I did see those and there seemed to be a split of opinion, which is keeping me from committing. Anyone have a great recommendation for Paris hotel with teens? We need either 2 rooms or a quad room, which seems pretty hard to come by. We'd like to be able to walk or use the metro for transportation. All opinions welcome. Thanks!

Also, Hotel la Bourdonnais

(these are nearer the Eiffel than Latin Qtr, though)

Karen - I went to their website to see what you saw - it looks like one great little hotel!

Whether or not all those exposed beams are the real deal or not, (I'm betting they ARE!) makes for a very nice ambience in the bedroom shown. All round I think you've chosen well. The price of the rooms and breakfast are definitely a bit higher than other hotels in the area so the quality should be very acceptable.
Have a lovely stay!
