Hotel La bourdonnais or Duquesne Eiffel?

Please help me make my final choice. I can have a triple room with Eiffel Tower view for 193.00 Euros at Duquesne Eiffell Hotel -or a std. triple at La Bourdonnais for 175.00 Euros.
Which hotel would you prefer? I am leaning toward the view room - but would love help with my selection.

I've been staying at the Hôtel Duquesne-Eiffel for about the last 20 years and I love the place. The staff are helpful, the place is convenient to a métro stop and plenty of cafés and restaurants, and the rooms are very well appointed and comfortable, albeit small as is typical for Paris.
I don't know the Bourdonnais so can't give you a comparison.

St. Cirq, is the Duquesne air conditioned?

All the major websites that list the Duquesne Eiffel specify there is Air-Conditioning.

Yes, Ronda, it's air-conditioned. Check it out here (there are loads of other websites, too):

I stayed at the Duquesne-Eiffel in December of 2000. It was my first trip to Europe, so the size of the room was a shock at first, but it had a wonderful view of the Eiffel Tower, so I quickly got over it! :)

As StCirq said, the rooms are well appointed, and comfortable. A triple though, turned out to be two twin beds and a cot, but the cot was pretty comfortable so it wasn't a problem.

There was a cafe down the street, La Terrasse, that had very good hot chocolate!

I think the rooms at the Duquesne are pretty standard size for Paris. That said, I've had rooms there that ranged from fairly cramped to spacious. They have quite a variety of sizes.

La Terrasse is a great place to people-watch. And there are lots of good restaurants within easy walking distance - Le Florimond, La Fontaine de Mars, L'Auberge Bressane, Punjab......

I also like the area because it's fairly reidential and therefore queit for sleeping late at night.

Ooooo, a cot won't do. Three ladies over 45 need real beds. The hotel looks cute though.
