Hotel Kette Venice

I have a room booked at the Kette and have read very favorable reviews. I have been to Venice a few times, so what I am looking for is a friendly staff, comfortable rooms, sitting area or lounge. Anyone been there lateley?
Grazie!

hi lukey3,
I stayed at the Kette a couple years ago and would recommend the Kette for great location, friendly staff. The sitting area/lounge in the lobby was OK. My room was very clean, comfortable bed, Frette Linens, however it was very dark. I did not spend too much time in the room, which was a good thing, as it was very small and not the most comfortable room to "HANG OUT IN." For a 3 star hotel, I thought it was fine and served my purpose, but not my "favorite hotel room" to spend long amounts of time in.
The staff was wonderful.
Just don't expect a large spacious room.
bon viaggio.

I stayed there last year with my daughter and liked it a lot. I had no particular interaction with the staff, so I can't comment on that. But there is a sitting area and a lounge, and I thought the room was very comfortable. Nice marble bathroom too.

Thank you so much for your reply. I believe I have a larger room booked and am traveling with my Mother, so it sounds like this would work.

We stayed there two summers ago. Room was large, well-appointed. Wonderful location. Staff great. Just curious: what rate are you paying?
