Hotel Kette

My travel agent is recommending Hotel Kette for my trip to Venice the first week in December 2000. Can anyone else recommend this hotel? Do the rooms have their own bathrooms?
Thanks,
Amy

Amy, try looking them (and any of your other possibles) on www.venere.it and www.itwg.com for starters. Sometimes you can get a better idea from their info about the hotel, or even a link to a website.

Hi Amy,

Yes - the Kette is a wonderful hotel. We've stayed there 4 times (most recently in September of this year) and have been very pleased every time. All rooms have a private bath - actually, they are some of the largest baths we've had in Europe - all done in marble. Nice breakfast included with room rate. Very helpful staff, and a great location between La Fenice and San Marco. Enjoy your trip!

Here is a second vote for Hotel Kette! My husband and I went there on our honeymoon and were very happy with it. Ditto on the bathroom size! They are great! And the staff is VERY helpful in recommending restaurants, giving directions, etc.

Good evening, Amy
have not stayed at the KETTE, but have
passed by it only a week ago. It is in
a very goodlocation just about one full
block west of the Pza S. Marco on a
small calle of the main drag.. It is
the ristorante Borsa at its calles end
and to the right, over the bridge the
Martini, Al Teatro and Taverna La Fenice
to the left to the calle Marzo, right
about half block down by the Ponte Ostreghe is the ristorante Da Raffeale.
All are very good ristorantes.
Also the La Caravella.
Richard of La ?Grange Park, Il..
