Hotel Julia, Rome

Has anyone stayed at this hotel? How was it?

i stayed there some years ago. it's very well located on a quiet side street off the piazza barberini.

it has recently been remodeled which may have ameliorated some of its former drabness, but on the whole i recall the julia to be just fine.

one other note: there was a local trattoria at the end of the street (via rassala) which was outstanding at the time.

I stayed there in September. It is well-located, clean and simple. It was a quick walk to the Trevi, but yet the street is very quiet. If you do a search I believe there are numerous posts about it. The only negative that I can remember is that the room had very little natural light coming in to them.

We loved Domus Julia, which is the B&B side of this hotel. If you do a search on this site you will find tons of recomendations for this hotel. We had a nicer room here than we have had in some 4 star hotels, honestly!

Hotel Julia is my hotel in Rome. For price and location it can't be beat. I was last there the first week of December. Good buffet breakfast included.
