Hotel Ira
Just browsing for fun on Trip Advisor for Santorini, and see that there is a hotel in Firostefani named Hotel Ira. Imagine that! And Ira never told us! :-)
|
Perhaps he does not want anyone to know that he is Actually a rich tycoon that enjoy to spend his time with us Poor Folks..:)
|
I thought the Hotel Bonaparte in Paris was aka the Hotel Ira
:) |
Well, with the US government always making a big deal about how much money you'll save if you donate to IRA, I'm not surprised he could afford to buy a hotel.

Do Fodorites get a discount if they mention this website???

Hello Grandmere:
You're way behind on this topic. Didn't you see my post: Author: gradyghost Date: 02/24/2005, 05:18 pm Message: Re Hotel Ira --You can check out, but you can never leave--Oh, that's someplace else, but it fits in a way because let's hope Ira never leaves this board. Gradyghost |
You posted about this just a few days ago, Gradyghost? Nope, missed it, and even did search before I posted, just to make sure this wasn't old news. Sorry!
|
I can't believe Ira hasn't jumped into this thread yet.
WHERE ARE YOU, IRA?? What can he possibly be doing that's more important than Fodoring? |
Oh, elle, that was fantastique! Our dear friend, Capo, would certainly approve!! Bises!!
|
topping for ira now that he is back on the boards
|
Thanks, TA.
I have been travelling. I looked up the hotel. The owner's seem to have excellent taste, especially in the choice of name. ((I)) |
Is our Ira in Boca perhaps?
Patrick is "on" today! Blew my coffee out of my nose on the Traveler Check post from trophywife... his little aside! HAHARRRHARR |
>Is our Ira in Boca perhaps?<
Yes. We visit my Lady Wife's Aunt here. It also gives us a chance to rev up from the quiet lifestyle we pursue in Madison, GA. A short note for those who think Europe is expensive. On the way down we stopped for the night in Ocala at a place that we have stayed before because they have coupons for $44/nite. This time, because there was a biker convention in town, it was $97 plus tax. It would have been $127 +, but we are "regulars". For that kind of money you can get a room overlooking the Dordogne River with bkfst and dinner for two, in season. ((I)) |
We have a "Rex" hotel in San Francisco!
Anybody else? |
elle, you are just too clever! :D
