Hi Bob. I'm trying to get reservation there, i'm thinking about waking up at midnight here, so i can call them. My travel agent contacted them a few days ago, maybe i should have made these reservations myself. If they are booked, any other suggestions?

Bob - La Favorita is on my list as a potential hotel if we pick Sorrento to base. It looks great from the website and reviews. Any personal suggestions to ask for a specific area of room location ? Have you stayed there ? Thanks!

I am in the exact same situation - looking for a hotel in Sorrento for 5 nites but will not have a problem with availability because I am looking for early May 2012. I too have zeroed in on Antiche Mura and Favorita. Favorita is more money for similar room so am wondering whether it is worth the extra $ or not. Bellevue Syrene was my first choice but over budget so it's off the table (unless exchange rate improves drastically). Would love opinions about Antiche Mura vs Favorita as they both seem like good choices.

We have stayed at Antiche Mura but not Favorita---I did stop to look inside it and was impressed. The big difference are the views on the Bay of Naples. Both have nice pools, and I loved breakfast at Antiche Mura.
