Melissa: There is a recent very positive post on the Frommers message board about the Genio Hotel ("Loved Hotel Genio in Rome!"). It seems to be a inexpensively priced 4* located just outside the North end of the Piazza. In a quick search here, I read a couple of positive posts including one from "Ed, twenj.com". HTH Regards, Walter

Hey, Melissa, if you're not already convinced to reserve at the Genio, try this out as a clincher: I love the italians, but not every ATM fucntions consistently ... but my goodness, there is such an ATM around the corner from Genio, 50 feet to the right as you walk into the Pza. It just keeps on dispensing money, regardless of the weather, the crowds, the exchange rate. It is a superb machine ... well, anything that gives money consistently is, in my book, superb. Ciao, L

Leone reminded me of something. There is an ATM right on the same building as the Primavera, practically on the doorstep. It worked very well for us.
