Hotel in Rome

I am traveling to Rome for the marathon March 2008. Any suggestions on hotel near colliseum because of proximity to finish line? Cost, I want to pay no more than 200$ night.

$200 US is about 136€...

You could start with Venere.com and Booking.com
- those have customer reviews to help you filter out bad prospects

Look into Hotel Paba - it's inexpensive and down a street from the Colosseum...

Or look at the Hotel Lancelot. It might be within your budget if you're looking for a single room.
