Hotel in Reykjavik
 

Can you please recommend a good hotel (clean, central located) for about 100 $ / night double room?

I tried to book hotel Fron, but it seems that it is full.
Any recommendtaion for another hotel?

The Center Hotel chain has (I think) five hotels of different standards in Reykjavik, so I imagine one might fit your criteria. I can only vouch for their Thingholt hotel, having stayed there about 18 months ago, but remember it as clean, well positioned and friendly, so imagine the others would be similar.

Their hotel Thingholt was more that $100 a night for a double, but I think it's one of their 'upper end' places so one of the others may be closer to your budget.

Thank you, Jay. I booked Luna Apartments. It seems to be good value and central located.

No problem valtor. They are pretty central and looking at their website I realised I've actually walked past them a few times.

I wasn't aware of the Luna Apartments before, but having had a look I've added them to my mental list of places to stay when I finally get around to taking my son on his first trip to Iceland.
