Hotel in Paris with very early check
Does anyone have any suggestions about a cheap hotel with a really early check in???? i need somewhere to go when i get off the plane???
|
I've had this problem in many countries and what I do is book the room for a day earlier, but tell the hotel that I'll arrive very early the next morning. And, yes, I have to pay for one extra day, but sometimes it's worth it since check in at most hotels isn't until 2:00PM and sometimes later. If I arrive somewhere at 6AM, I'm too tired to sit in the lobby until my room is ready in the afternoon. I just want to go to sleep for about 4 hours and then wake up fresh for the rest of the day out. Happy Travels!

Unless you book the room for the night before, almost no hotel will guarantee you an early check in (since they have no control over what time their other guests check out)
But almost every hotel will store your luggage for you until a room is ready. So just go directly to whichever hotel you choose, leave your luggage and head out to explore the neighborhood/get a bite to eat. |
Nearly every hotel will store your bags as soon as you arrive. There's always plenty to do until you can get into your room: have a proper breakfast and some really good coffee, pick up a carnet of metro tickets, buy a museum pass, explore the neighborhood around your hotel for appealing restaurants and make reservations.
Otherwise, as others have mentioned, you'll have to book the night before. But, you do need to let them know that you will arrive early the following morning so they do not cancel your entire reservation. |
Thank-you for your suggestions they are most helpful. Can anyone suggest a hotel in the 7th arondissement economically priced??
|
OK, now you're going to have to help us by defining the term "economically."
|
Thankyou Dukey for your interest I call 30-40 Euros ecomomical am I naive? All I want is something very clean ,hot shower and fresh linen on the bed.
|
For 30-40 € you may need to look for an hostel rather than an hotel (and certainly not in the 7th - the most expensive arrondissement in Paris)
|
Or you could consider something like the Etap'Hotels : clean, basic, around 40 Euros - they are situated at the outskirts, there is one porte d'Orleans - not a too bad location (the others are further in the suburbs)
