Mayflowers, Just a word of advice:
If you are going anytime in the Summer please don't let anyone tell you that A/C is "not needed" in Munich including those folks who live there...why? because Munich can be VERY humid in the Summer (whether the inhabitants want to admit it or not and whether or not they enjoy sucking it up or not).
If it weren't needed then why did so many of those "horrid" chain hotels install it? (LOL)
I'd give you a recommendation for a place to stay but probably all of our favorites are out of your price range.
Enjoy your trip

Hi M,
Thw www.hotel-uhland.de/enwelcome.html is 90E for a "Comfort" dbl w bkfst.
It is within walking distance of the Bahnhof.
We have stayed there before, and will be staying there for our upcoming visit.
