Hotel in London with romms for 4
 

Does anyone know of a decent hotel in London, with good location, that has rooms for 4? We are a family of 4 and want to stay for 4 nights in one room with 2 double beds.
Recomandations will be apreciated.

Good luck, those are thin on the ground. However, check out serviced apartments, they will likely be much better for you!

I believe the Travel Inn County Hall and the Marriott County Hall both have quads. Here are some previous threads on the same subject. The Holiday Inn Kensington gets mentione a lot.

The Holiday Inn Mayfair also has rooms with 2 double beds.

How old are the kids? If they are young there are lots of family rooms in various hotels. But if they are teenagers - then you have more of a problem. For instance the Travel Inn (now Premier Travel INN) will allow 4 in a room but the kids mus both be under 15.

I personally would MUCH rather rent a flat - a lot more space for four.

My recommendation would be an apartment, or two rooms with Priceline.

We are also family of four, have recently done this search, and have settled on Arran House in Bloomsbury. Had also looked at St. Margaret's Hotel nearby, which lots of people seem to like. Both have websites, and both offer full English breakfast. I'd also stumbled upon a website for St.Athans Hotel, described elsewhere in this forum as more like a family hostel, and very economical. We can't give firsthand reviews yet on any of these, buy maybe worth a look for you.

Hello Erez, this past February, my family and I stayed in the Holiday Inn Kensington and really enjoyed it. There were two double beds in the room that can easily accomodate 4 people. The staff was very friendly and accomodating also. The hotel is near the corner of Cromwell Road and Gloucester Road, a short walk to Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park and also the British Museum,the V&A museum etc.. Directly across the street from the hotel is a supermarket where you can get snacks or meals. Next year when we return to London, we will be staying there again.

Try a family room at a Travelodge - it'll be a double bed, a sofa bed & a pull out bed. If you are lucky you might even get it for £10 per night for the room, though expect to pay over £60

We were in London in Janurary and rented an apartment, and it was the best decision we made. It was just my wife and I and my 26 yr old daughter. We could 'stretch out' in the living room, watch TV comfortably, sleep comfortably and grab prepared food to cook when we lacked the energy to go out for dinner.

I also think an apt. would be nicer , but that was not your request.

I third the suggestion of a flat. You will get a lot more space for less money. But some people just prefer hotels.

I would go for an apartment but I'm not alone here. My sister's family is traveling with us as well as my parents and they would prefer a hotel.

If I will go with either - the HI Kensington or the Thistle Marble Arch - and take only room w/o breakfast - what are my options for a breakfast in a near area?

There was a Garfunkel's restaurant in the same arcade as the Waitrose supermarket on Gloucester and Cromwell Roads, directly across the street from the HI Kensington.
