Hotel in La Latina?
 

Can anyone suggest a hotel in the La Latina area of Madrid? Staying there one night for my son's 18th birthday! I want it to be amazing! Thanks!

Posade de León de Oro gets great reviews and is in the "tapas street" Cava Baja. Not many hotels in the Latina district itself.

Posade de León de Oro is only so-so, too much street traffic in the cafe/bar area. I wasn't that impressed with the location and it's bar wine prices are a bit high, but fairly common now for the tourist dominated area it's become.

Many nice places close by, look around Plaza Mayor/Plaza Santa Ana area. If you're looking for something very special, take a look at Reina Victoria at vibrant Plaza Santa Ana:
