Hotel in Dublin
 

My husband, adult son and I will be in Dublin late October/early November for a few days; then rent a car and drive to Tipperary where we will stay for a week or more. We need a place to stay in Dublin - clean, neat and a decent neighborhood near sightseeing attractions. We don't need a luxury space. Also we plan to get around on bus for our sightseeing. Any help is appreciated. Thanks. PS how do we find out where to pick up the rental car?

Buswells, just stayed there, great location, clean and great price. I did booking.com.

Years ago we stay at Charles Parnell guesthouse and I'm sure there are others on O'Connell...betw. Writer's Museum and Gate Theater. We did lots of walking around Dublin (and we ain't young).

Jury's Christ Church is clean, comfortable, and affordable. Located within walking distance to Trinity College, Grafton St., Temple Bar, etc.

We enjoyed Fitzwilliam Guest House (scaled down from the Fitzwilliam HOTEL), but nice, quiet, nice area, convenient location.
