HOTEL IN BRUGGES

The Pandhotel has gotten many good reviews here. Their standard double is 145 Euros per their website. More expensive rooms also. Not sure if that will fit your $150/night limit. But the pictured rooms look very nice and charming.

Check out the Hansa Hotel...great location, just north of square, small charming hotel. Stayed there in 98 - great service, small room but very nice.<BR><BR>I would also consider looking at ahotel near the Minnewater area.

Hotel Prisenhof is wonderful. Not right on square but only short stroll away. Great rooms, great breakfast, great owners. It is the best.

You may not actually want a hotel right on the square, as it can get very noisy. A block or two away is better.

I liked the Jan Brito; it's about two or three blocks or maybe even more from the square but very charming, nice rooms, quiet street, great staff, and think it would fit your budget well.

Joy & Bill: We just returned from nine days in Belgium and stayed two nights at the Hansa in Bruges, two short blocks from "the square". It is well located, beautifully appointed (very large bathrooms) has a first rate breakfast buffet and the staff are helpful. It might be a tad above $150 for a double, but very much worth it.

We just got back from Brugges and stayed at Hotel Voermanshuys. The room was large and clean and in a wonderful location. I would stay there again. The cost was around $75.00 for a double room with breakfast included. Can't beat that.

Just got back from Brugges as well. We stayed at Hotel Europ. It located right in front of the canal. An awesome view. A quiet neighborhood, with few blocks away from the square. A thumb up hotel. We spent $70 a night in a double room including breakfast.
