Hotel in Bologna
 

Please recommend a hotel in Bologna. We'll be flying into the airport there on our first day in Italy. We'd like to spend the night there before heading south to Montepulciano.

We liked the Paradise Hotel. It is in a pedestrian area in the historic center.

I second the paradise hotel. Not the most luxurious, but very clean, good location, and great price.

We loved Hotel Metropolitan. Also in the pedestrian area, friendly staff, wonderful breakfast in the garden in the summer, charming room, quiet, good a/c. I'd happily return if I go back to Bologna.
