Hotel in Bellagio?

I must decide between Hotel du Lac, Metropole, Belvedere or Florence all in Bellagio. We will go in July so would like A/C and beautiful views. Which would you choose and why?

The Belvedere.
The views.

Is the Florence air conditioned???

If you don't mind the walk/ride/whatever up I would agree with the Belvedere since you would get a bit of a different view being somewhat above the town.

Another vote for the Belevedere for the same reason....plus a wonderfully accommodating and helpful staff.

Neither the Florence nor the Metropole are air conditioned. I've stayed at Du Lac, had a huge room with a fantastic view and great location, but the room and bath were "dowdy".

I personally don't like the idea of the Belvedere because I'm too disorganized not to have to return to my hotel room a lot, and I like being right in the middle of the things. I also like being able to roll my luggage a short distance to the hotel -- all the other three provide that. But I'd say the Belvedere is probably over all the nicest and most upscale of the hotels you mention (well, the Florence is very pretty inside).

You can't get a better view than the Metropole with a room literally cantilevered out over the lake itself. That's mainly why we've chosen it for this summer (plus its nice price). We're hoping not to worry about the lack of air as the lake air tends to be pretty cool at night and there should be plenty of that coming through the big French windows.
