Hotel in Barcelona on Las Ramblas
Can anyone recommend a nice hotel on Las Ramblas ? We would like to spend 2 nights there after our cruise in November. Also does anyone know the best way to get to Monserrat for the day?
Thank you |
I would not stay on Las Ramblas unless you want a view of KFC.

We are staying at a B&B a short walk from Las Ramblas. It's had good reviews from tripadvisor. Check it out- The five rooms.

We stayed at los Arcos hotel . It is on La Rambla.near the bottom, it has been refurbished. very clean & comfortable reasonable prices. sugest quieter rooms at the rear. For info re Monserrat go to www. barcelona-tourist-guide.com.

I would not stay on the Ramblas either, have done it and can get loud.

Sorry, but can't understand what is the fascination with las Ramblas.
I recommend the Hotel Atrium Palace in the Eixample , a few blocks from Las Ramblas. |
Hotel Continental is the best - great rates, perfect location and 24 hour free buffet.
But, like the others I agree it can be a hassle, and you can experience a better Barcelona by steering clear of Las Ramblas. Try http://www.hotelenia.com/en/spain/ba...s-in-barcelona for some good stuff. Eddie |
Thank you all for the helpful information.

Hi the hotel I went to is not on the Ramblas per say but is very close on a quieter street and was very cute. It's called Husa Meson Castilla and I found it on this website http://en.tripter.com/hotels/Spain/B...tilla/90994/h/ They have a map locating all the hotels they offer (and they have a lot!)so you could easily choose another one near the Ramblas. They also have hundreds of reviews for most of their hotels so I hope it helps you find what you want :)

I would second the rec for the Atrium Palace which is in a great location and has a great buffet breakfast. You can read the reviews on TripAdvisor.
As to being on Las Ramblas, there are many more views than of the KFC and depending on the hotel your ROOM won't be any noisier than the noise you might be making while IN it. Some folks just aren't very adaptable I guess. |
