hotel in barcelona
 

senior couple wish to spend a couple of days in barcelona after a cruise. would like to be centrally located . 3 to 4 star if possible.

We stayed at the Hotel Colon overlooking the square in front of the Cathedral. It was wonderful.

3 or 4-star doesn't mean very much when selecting a hotel. What is your daily budget. Maybe you can find something a lot better than the Hotel Colon, which is a bit outdated...

Condes de Barcelona

Just off La Rambla and the Liceu metro station Hotel Moderno is a simple but nice 3-star hotel. It is a quiet location, despite being very close to the busy Ramblas. It is as central as you can get.
