Hotel in Barcelona?
 

My new husband and I will be spending 3 nights in Barcelona before our Med. honeymoon cruise and I am looking for suggestions for a moderately priced, nice hotel that would put us in the middle of most sights we'd want to see in our short stay there. We will be there in early October, 3rd-5th.

What's your definition of moderately priced?

I like the Hotel Astoria (part of the Derby chain) in Exeimple, about a 15 minute walk from Plaza Catalunya. It was about 105 euros when I stayed there (in 2005). There is another 3* hotel in the chain that is a little more central, but I liked the Astoria's location. I also liked the NH Hotel Plaza Catalunya (very central), but it was a little more expensive when I stayed there (about 130 euros, although that price did include an excellent breakfast buffet for two).

Those are all in my price range - 100-130 Euros would be ok.

I'll have to take a look at the map and see where these are all located.

We just stayed in a suite at Hotel Banys Orientals and really loved it.
