Hotel in Amsterdam
 

Am flying back to the States in January and have a 7 hour layover in Amsterdam (0540 - 1255). Does anyone know if there is a convenient hotel at Schiphol airport to rest for a few hours? Any other suggestions?

Yes thre is, and I think you can only have a day reservation andçor shower.

The Sheraton is the closest hotel (the Hilton slightly further on) other than the Mercure which is actually located within the terminal. The other two are within walking distance of the "Schiphol Plaza" area of the terminal.

The Sheraton has a health club with shower facilities which I have used in the past by paying a fee (not renting a room).
