Anybody familiar with this one?
Also have a question about degres de notre dame - what are the rates and is there any possibility to reach them by e-mail?
Would be really nice if somebody just says - this one is the best and cheapest hotel with oh-and-ah view and without any track of bugs.

I'm not familiar with Herse d'Or but Degres de Notre Dame is listed in two guidebooks about charming hotels. I think the rates are low to moderate. There is no email address only a fax number.

Hi, I don't think it's necessary for you to find someone to write French to send your fax. All hotels nowadays have someone who understands English.

I have read about Hotel Herse d'Or is several places. I think it is okay but nothing outstanding. It's main reason for being listed in places is being very cheap and in a good location. Here is a good description

Do not worry so much about writing in French. Most hotels will understand it in English, even 2* hotels. It is probably better than a bad translation, and then you may not understand what they write back.
