We had a room at the Bonaparte in 2006 that had twin beds. I do not remember the number, but if faced the back courtyard.

In my experience almost all the rooms in small European hotels have twin beds, often times pushed together to form a "king" bed. They can most always be moved apart if that is your desire.

Thank you dwzemens. It is on our list, but thankfully I have time to narrow it down.

I've had plenty of Parisian hotels that do not have two twin beds pushed together to make a double, but a real double bed, and I have only stayed in small, budget to mid-level hotels. In fact, I think those kind are more likely to have a real double bed as the whole two twins together (in France) is to make a king-size bed.

There are definitely different customs in Germany, Poland, Austria and those countries, but that is because they like twin beds even for married couples, and the norm there is two twins. But that is not the custom in France.

I haven't stayed at the Bonaparte, but I know that street and exactly where it is, and the street view is really nothing special, anyway.

We all have different experiences, but mine is that most hotels have provided us with twin beds, often pushed together, but often seperated.

The Hotel Bonaparte is located on Rue Bonaparte, which at that point is a small, narrow street which is typical to the area. However, a few steps around the corner is the St Sulpice church, which sits on a marvelous plaza that is stunningly beautiful, in my opinion.

It is also an easy walk to the Luxembourg Gardens, the Seine, Notre Dane, the Latin Quarter, etc. The hotel is located very near to two metro lines and also a great bus line is just around the corner.

Good choice for a budget hotel.
