Hotel help for Ragusa, Sicily

Just realized my first post had spelled Ragusa wrong. Oops.

Hi, Putting the finishing touches on our June trip to Sicily and still haven't gotten a hotel in Ragusa. Looking for moderate price range and will have a car. The Rough Guide suggests San Giovanni, Green Guide has Hotel Montreal. Has anyone been to either of these or have another suggestion? Thanks!

Please check out TripAdvisor.com, they have several hotels with reviews from travellers and automatic pricing from different web sites. I did notice Hotel Montreal on there as well as Eremo della Giubiliana but didn't see San Giovanni.

Thanks mousireid, I had visited the site before and hadn't quite figured it out. Just spent two hours there and found it very helpful for deciding on my Taormina hotel but it only had four reviews on three hotel in Ragusa. Oh well, it's only for one night.

Teresa:
If you think of it, let me know where you stayed and what you thought. I'll be visiting Ragusa for the first time (and Sicily, as well), and am interested in your experience. Thanks...Chris

Hi Chris, I don't know if this is too late but we stayed at the Hotel Montreal. It was 81 Euros a night, close to the Duomo a mile or so from the old part of town. It was a nice hotel, has parking but be sure you get your key back if they offer to park your car. We got ours back the next morning. When we started driving we saw the red light was on our fuel and my husband felt sure that we had more gas the night before. Who knows? The major cathedral in the old town was being renovated and couldn't be visited. The same is true in Nota (I think), quite disappointing. We had a great time in Sicily. I will be posting my husband's journal soon. Have fun.
