Hotel Help

I am about to visit Paris for the first time - any helpful suggestions for inexpensive and quaint hotels? Also...would appreciate any feedback on the Prince Albert Tour Eiffel Hotel. Thank you!

Hi, can you please describe what you consider inexpensive and quaint? Because inexpensive for you may not match what others consider inexpensive. And usually quaint means old-fashioned or so.

Thank you for your response.
Quaint=well-maintained/charming.
(I'll add to that a shower and toilet in the room.)
Looking at the #7 district.
Inexpensive = 50-65 euros/night.

Is that for a single or a double?
You are more likely to get something in your price range if you extend your acceptable areas to include the 14th and 15th.

Poodle, not the arrond. you speak of, but I've stayed at two inexpensive hotels. in the 6th, Hotel Saint Andre Des Arts, about 70e for a double with a nice bath and facility (no lift, no tv) but an ancient historical building. Great area, lots of bistros, restaurants, etc.
The other (for about 70e's) is up in the Bastille, the Lyon Mulhouse. Very nice by across town from the 7th.
