My husband and I will be in Paris from 4/4/01-4/11/01. We are looking for a nice hotel around $80.00 per night. We would like to stay in the 5th, 6th or 7th. Anyone have a reccommendation?

Try www.parishotels.com. You can pick location and peruse for price. They hae a little map for street location, list amenities. Some have virtual tours which is real fun. Look at Sully St. Germaine (5th) and take their virtual tour. Fun, and a good way to get a Paris fix until you get to actually go. You can reserve on line. It's easy - too easy!

You can also look at www.paris.org and <BR>www.hotelboulevard.com (which often also have comments from past hotel guests), or do a search here on Paris hotels. Check out the following which I have not stayed at but I have read positive things about in the past <BR>Hotel de l'Esperance,Port-Royal,St Jacques, Familia, Grand Hotel Jeanne d'Arc.

I should have noted that the Jeanne d'Arc is in the 4th, not on the left bank
