Hotel Granados 83
 

This is supposed to be the newest hotel by the Derby group in the Eixample area. The website is offering a great grand opening rate. I'm not sure if it's already open or when it will open. Does anyone have comments on this area, hotel chain, or the hotel itself? I'm trying to decide between the Balmes, Astoria or the Granados 83. THANKS!

It is a new Derby hotel in Barcelona, and from my personal experience, Derby hotels tend to be above average. As to when it opens, who knows? You can email the Derby chain to see what they have to say. I expect that it will be open by early spring, but that is just a guess at this point.

Robert-Thanks for the information. I wanted to make sure they were an average hotel chain, I can't pass up the special either.

It looks like they are taking reservations for stays from March 1st onward. At 75E a night, this seems like a great deal.

we also have resevations in march for this hotel due to the great price. but - i checked out qdq photos and the hotel is still under construction. does anyone know how recent these photos on qdq are? it looks like winter. anyway, best to have a backup hotel i guess! also any feedback on the location of the hotel for restaurants, ease to sights, etc. thanks.

oops, forgot to add that on a bid for this hotel on luxury link, it was noted that the restaurant will not be open until summer of 2006. so am also wondering about construction noise. hmm.
