Hotel for One Night in Milan?

My husband and I are starting our March trip to Italy in Rome and flying out of Milan. We've decided Milan doesn't merit much more than a one night stopover before the flight.

I imagine we'll be poor as churchmice by the time we finish Rome, Florence and Venice, so any economic hotel suggestions would be most welcome for that final night in Italia. Would be nice if near the Duomo, and we wouldn't mind some lack of ambiance.

There's a Best Western a few stops from the Duomo which had reasonable rates when I stayed there a few years ago. Decent hotel. Included breakfast. check out their website on-line.

Have fun.

Hmm, the Best Western I located was a four star, which is probably more $$$ than we'd like.

Any other suggestions, folks? and/or which of the BW's is reasonable?

TY!!!

It's the Best Western City Hotel on Corso Buenas Aires. It's a three star hotel.

Hope this helps.

Try Hotel Speronari - just around the corner from Piazza Del Duomo, a few doors from the amazing Peck store. Quite basic but comfortable and great staff - About 105 Euros this last June.
I don't think they have a web site but their phone number is (02) 8646 1125.

While in Milan do go to the top of the Duomo - fabulous!
