Hotel Florence Firenze Please

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a hotel in Florence that would be economical and clean for under 100 Euro that would be easy to get to with LARGE bags?

Thanks, Pat

B&B Peterson might be what you want. You can find them through www.venere.it
They are close to the SMN train station.

Friends who always travel by train recommended Hotel Mario to me, but I
have never stayed there. It is near
Santa Maria Novella station and is
mentioned in the Karen Brown guide for
Italy. I believe it is under 100 euro.

Pat here again - we will be arriving by plane. We will not have a car. And our LARGE bags are bicycles in large hard cases (which we will not need to unpack in Florence, but after we leave). Thanks for all the leads so far - kep them coming! Thanks! Pat

In that case, be careful. Lots of the 100E and under places, and even some of the higher priced hotels, are up several flights of stairs. Stairwells are often narrow, and elevators are the one-person old fashioned variety. Good luck!
