Hotel Fita in Amsterdam
Has anyone ever stayed in Hotel Fita? We would like to have breakfast with the room. We want a hotel in the Voldelpark, Jordaan area for less than $200.00 a night. It must have an elevator.
Any other suggestions welcomed. |
Hi, Stayed at the Fita in 2001. Thought it a great location and it had a very good breakfast. I believe it did have an elevator--although we were on the lower or street level, where the breakfast room was. It was close to a lot of things, just a block or two over to the tram that went to Centraal Station--not a bad walk to the stop, even with suitcases. Close to museums and various places to eat. We have also stayed at the Princenhoff--right on a canal, but no elevator. mhm

Maryanne, type <hotel fita> (without the carets) into the search box at the top of the page. Many reviews of the hotel will appear on the left-hand side of your screen. I stayed there in October 2004 and would stay there again. However, our room on the ground floor had barred windows which were locked with a rusty padlock, so there would have been no way to get out of the window in an emergency. I would not stay on the ground floor again.

We stayed at the Fita in 2003 and thoroughly enjoyed this hotel. They provide a very filling breakfast and the location was great. There is an elevator but there are steps to get into the lobby from the street. Hope this helps.

hi we stayed at the hotel fita last november. they do have an elevator. we enjoyed out stay there - their breakfasts were awesome (the orange juicer was really cool, you just gotta see it). good location too; we walked everywhere. try going to the van gough (across the street from the hotel) friday nights. it's practically empty and nice to be there with live music playing.
